The 23rd TIFF Charity Auction will start from 10:00AM on Saturday October 23!!

The theme of TIFF is “Ecology – Contribution to global environment.” As a part of our social action programs, we are running a fund-raising campaign for the environment conservation activities at the festival. To extend the campaign, we will hold a charity auction, featuring movie props used in the films screened in 23rd TIFF and others.
This auction will be held in cooperation with Rakuten, Inc..

Introduction of the Charity Auction on the Website
Original goods, movie props used in the films screened in 23rd TIFF and others are provided by the film directors and actors/actresses.
The auction goods will be displayed at "TIFF movie café" in Roppongi Hills.

ICT Changes Digital Media Production and Distribution!
This "CineGrid@TIFF 2010"conference that gives you opportunities to experience ICT of digital media production and distribution. It will be held on October 28.

CineGrid is an international non-profit organization dedicated to building an interdisciplinary community that is focused on the research, development, and demonstration of networked collaborative tools to enable the exchange of very-high-quality digital media over photonic networks.

The CineGrid@TIFF 2010 event demonstrates the state-of-the-art for digital media post-production use, exchange and preservation by the world leading researchers, engineers and post-production professionals.

Topics include CineGrid member showcase, tutorials and panel discussion about the digital media production and distribution as well as HD/4K live streaming.
