The 23rd TIFF will hold a special-focus screening of films by the rising generation of directors in Taiwan cinema
The 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) will hold a special-focus screening of six films by a new generation of Taiwanese directors that has risen following the golden age of the great masters Hou Hsiao-hsien, Tsai Ming-liang, and Edward Yang. This special screening entitled, "Taiwanese Cinema Renaissance 2010: New Breeze of the Rising Generation", will be part of the festival's Winds of Asia Middle-East section.
