We have rolled the Green Carpet this year, and believe that we will be rolling the Green Carpet next year too. What do you think about the concept of the Green Carpet?

" I think that the concept of the film festival is great. I think that the film festival is a place where various kinds of messages are sent out to the world, using the power that the film has. And as a festivity, I think that TIFF is sending out wonderful message of Green Carpet to the world starting from its opening day. As the prototype of the 21st Century Film Festival, it not merely adds the value to the quality of the film festival, but also delivers a value that the whole world holds through its new perspectives. That is why I think that the whole world is paying the attention to the Tokyo International Film Festival. I feel truly honored to be able to walk on the Green Carpet again as the Jury member this year ".
