Today, the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival held a press conference and made an announcement that POST CARD directed by Kaneto Shindo, has been selected to compete at the 23rd TIFF Competition section!

98-year-old Kaneto Shindo's self-claimed final film. War does not only take soldiers' lives, but also destroys their families as well. Shindo's last work depicts the catastrophe of war from ordinary people's point of view.
