Synopsis
During WWⅡ, soldiers of the 442 Regiment, composed mainly of Japanese Americans fought, not only the enemy but also prejudice in their homeland. However, the 442 became the most decorated regiments for its size and length of service in the US military history. This film is about 442nd veterans who are normal American citizens now, portraying their battle against the enemy and prejudice and their PTSD which was never revealed even to their families before filming. The director is experienced Junichi Suzuki who has lived in USA for 9 years and the music is by Golden Glove award recipient Kitaro.

After graduating Tokyo University, he joined Nikkatsu as an assistant director. "Fujinka Byoto" (Nikkatsu) was his directorial debut in 1981.He has directed 24 feature films so far, including the hit movie "Shiro and Marylin"(Shochikufuji), Asiaoseania Film Festival winner "Sand Castle" (ATG), Idellywild International Film Festival of Cinema winner "Remembering the Cosmos Flower" (Ace Pictures). He moved to LA 2001.
