The 23rd TIFF, GACKT's Hollywood debut film "Bunraku"to be screened as a Special Program!
TIFF is pleased to announce that Bunraku (Director: Guy Moshe) has been added to the line-up for the 23rd TIFF as a Special Program. Japanese popular musician/actor GACKT co-stars with Hollywood stars, Josh Hartnett, Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore. This film will be GACKT's Hollywood debut.

Synopsis:
Using cutting-edge visuals and heart-pounding fight choreography, {Bunraku} combines manga, spaghetti westerns, samurai films, videogames, and more into a stunning glimpse at an alternate future with no guns. A mysterious drifter (Josh Hartnett) and an honor-bound samurai (Gackt) walk into a town terrorized by the ruthless Nicola (Ron Perlman) and his army of thugs, headed by nine deadly assassins. The drifter and the samurai team up with the local bartender (Woody Harrelson) who has been secretly awaiting a dream team to help overthrow Nicola's tyrannical regime.

The Advance Ticket will be on sale from 10:00 on Saturday October 16 at Ticket PIA and Lawson Ticket!
