Synopsis
The year is 2019. A mysterious plague has swept over the earth, transforming the majority of the world's population into vampires. Well-educated vampires find a way to live in the shadows and create a new form of society. However, they face a new challenge, their only source for human blood is rapidly decreasing. It's all up to Edward Dalton, a vampire researcher who refuses to feed on human blood. He searches to perfect a blood substitute that might sustain vampires and spare the few remaining humans. While Lionel Cormac, a member of the resistance, is trying to protect the survivors.

Peter Spierig, Michael Spierig
In 1997 Peter and Michael Spierig graduated from the Queensland College of Art in Australia. Their short film The Big Picture was screened at many international film festivals including The International Film Festival Rotterdam. Their first feature film, UNDEAD was directed, produced, written and edited by themselves. This film was also screened at seventeen international film festivals.
